I watched Adaptation., Comic Book: The Movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, A Women Under the Influence, Unfaithfully Yours, and a few others.

I guess today I will do a post about Quentin Tarantino; alright I am going to say that I think he has never made a bad movie. Everyone who hates him can just go kill themselves, Pulp Fiction could be the best movie of the 90's.

He started with a little masterpiece known as Reservoir Dogs, people say this is a copy of City on Fire but even if it is, I know for a fact City on Fire doesn’t have the dialogue or the performances this has. People are just mad that Reservoir Dogs is better. It's a perfect movie that shows QT is a master.

Pulp Fiction is his best movie and is my favorite movie of all time. It’s a masterpiece. One of the all time best scripts, it’s the most quotable movie of all time, and the dialogue is amazingly written. This is the best cast of all time IMO. The editing on the film is great, the way it tells the story out of order and the way it all comes together perfect. The soundtrack is to die for. Got ripped off for best picture!

Jackie Brown is QT worst but it is still amazing with a cast on par with his previous two movies. It has an amazing opening homage to Black Exploitation movies of the 70’s. The ending was the only thing that didn’t sit well with me, but the last time I watched it, it was much better than before.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 is the better of the two Kill Bill films IMO. The dialogue is not too much like in volume 2 and the action is much more fulfilling. This is an amazingly made movie, with one of my favorite endings and probably my favorite soundtrack. Great Anime sequence in the middle! Again the film is told out of order but it is never confusing and helps the movie. My baby shot me down.

Kill Bill Vol. 2 is still great even though the way I talk of it might not sound like it is. Uma Thurman outdoes here performance of the last one in this (she should have been nominated for an academy award, but again the academy rips someone/something off). Michael Madson's character Bud is much more developed in this movie as well as all of the characters. The whole buried alive sequence is great. My only slight problem with this is that the ending almost loses itself in the dialogue. The ending almost doesn’t seem fulfilling for such a great epic (maybe not the best thing to call it).

QT is an amazing director, although he’s a much better writing, and even a decent actor. His scene in Sin City is amazing. And I can't wait for Grindhouse which is a horror movie he’s doing with Robert Rodriquez. And QT has said that his script for Inglorious Bastards is his best and it is said to be in the over 500 pages. And it is suppose to have Adam Sandler and Michael Madson. I can’t wait for this. This movie may be QT's movie that ends all the hate, but probably not!

Well I’m done with this post, I’m contemplating doing a little write up on my top 10 directors like Tim did, but we will see. Peace!

Go to this http://www.hollywoodsaloon.com I just signed up on the forum which is cool, and the show is amazing. Our main thing we want to do is a zombie trilogy, we have finished about half of the first installments script. We have where we want the movie to go, but it’s still very hard to write. We plan on entering that script into the Eerie Horror Fest 2007, in the student script section. There is also a project I have to do for my schools Intro to Video Production class, we have decided it will be a series of shorts that take place in a restaurant. We may have Andruini help us on this one, somehow.

We want to try to make between 8-12 short films between now and the end of summer for practice. We have a lot of ideas, but getting them written down and finished is hard! I will have more information on our movies later; I will also have Tim write about this because he can probably write it better than me.

One of the next things I will post will probably be talking about Tarantino!!! I leave you with this masterpiece!!!

GUERILLA RADIO - LIVE (Rage Against The Machine)

Video Code provided by VideoCodeZone.Com

<div style="MARGIN: 0px auto; We had mentioned this show before but werent sure how we were gonna do this and we still arent sure how we are going to continue to do this, but this time we used the "sound recorder" feature on most computers. The show is around and hour long! You will need to use headphones and turn the volume to the max so you can hear it the best. Well hope you enjoy this, we will be doing more soon. http://www.bigupload.com/d=9D2C5653

Alright with some great persuasion from my good buddy, Tim, I have decided to post something even though I don’t really feel like it! I couldn’t think of anything to post, so I made Tim think of something via MSN Messenger, he came up with writing about the decline in horror films, of which can clearly be seen by anyone who isn’t completely retard!

Ill start off by saying that I am far from a film snob, and that there will be some exceptions out of the newer horror movies.

The Ring is NOT one of those exceptions, while everyone seems to like this movie I sit here wondering if I’m an idiot for not liking this, maybe it’s a masterpiece and I am missing something. Well obviously I’m not missing anything, this film is shit, not THE shit, it is a complete pile of steamy hot shit! The whole scary kids, moving all fast has been done and is OLD! If I see another movie that has that I will kill Uwe Boll then I will kill everyone actually involved in the movie. Signs, while older, I think is terribly overrated, with a twist ending that is absolutely horrible! I wont give away whatever “twist” that is present in that “movie”. Even after that disappointment I still look forward to Lady in the Water.

Now Ill do an exception: Saw, this movie seems to be loved by the average film-goers who thinks Napoleon Dynamite is a work of art, but that doesn’t mean it actually isn’t good, because I still really enjoy this movie. I think its one of the few good horror movies to come out in recent years. All the flaws aside of course there is still something left for me to enjoy. Saw 2 is barely watchable and is still nothing special.

Watchable: Red Eye, Saw, Cabin Fever, Land of the Dead (highly underrated, Romero movie), 28 Days Later, and I really can’t think of any others which is pretty sad.

Shit: The Ring, Ring 2, Saw 2, White Noise, Darkness, Exorcism of Emily Rose, Exorcist Prequels, Halloween: Resurrection, House of Wax, Amityville Horror, Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake, The Fog Remake, Wolf Creek, Dawn of the Dead Remake, The Grudge, Boogeyman, Hide and Seek, and that is only about 1/18 of how many there are!

Alright I said I was going to post twice today, I was thinking about what I wanted to post, going through all the things I might want to post maybe about movies, music, or directors I thought but then I remembered I had tototally forgot about TV. I probably forgot because all that’s on TV lately has been terrible but then I remembered the only show that is still any good that I can think of was The Simpsons! The best show EVER in my opinion. So I’ve decided to post my thoughts on the overall series.

The Simpson’s if someone hasn’t seen it, is a show that was started by Matt Groening. The show started with little one minute shorts on the Tracy Ullman Show, but then moved in 1989 to a regular series with the classic Christmas Special. The show became so popular, as the first season of oddly drawn character went along, slowly shaping the way the show would be forever. Most people back in the day probably thought this was just going to go away, but it didn’t because the show was actually well written and had some depth. The stories could be funny at one moment then heart breaking in the next. The episode could be about Homer, Bart, Lisa, or even one of the many great supporting characters like Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, or Moe.

The show went on topping itself with each season having a uncountable number of special guests doing ever story you could think of and having all the best jokes (hence the episode of South Park "The Simpson’s Did It"). Many so called people who grew up with the show started to dislike and continue to dislike the show to the day, season 17. But I truly grew up with the show, born just around the time the series started and I have seen every single episode so I think I know when the show is good or not. Seasons like 10-12 are the worst in my opinion but that doesn’t mean they are totally bad, there are still some classic episodes in the series, but people treat it like the show was ruined and never could become better again. But now on season 17 I think this is so far the best season in recent years, the episodes are still hilarious and great fun to watch.

I will continue to watch anything with the Simpson’s in it forever. And I encourage all of you to do the same. Also if you like The Simpson’s stay away from Family Guy (I mean its funny but come on the episodes don’t hold up and all the jokes have been done. I got an idea lets take every joke from all the great shows and pack it into one episode. That doesn’t take talent and the characters are almost an exact rip-off of The Simpson’s. But Seth McFarlane does have voice talent) and watch some Futurama another great done by Matt Groening!

Just to point out The Simpson’s DVD sets are the best TV show sets out there and everyone should pick them up, they just released season 7, and season 8 is due out in the upcoming months. So now after all that if you watch The Simpson’s and don’t like them leave a comment and Ill see what I have to say about it. And if you happen to be a Family Guy fan tell me why you think the show is so good. Well I’m out, Peace! D’oh! You’re babbling incoherently, make sense man!

Oh yeah heres my friend Tim's Blog http://boltsfromthecorner.blogspot.com/ check it out sometime. Which is a comic that my friend Tim forced me to read knowing my love for horror and also my love for zombies. But Tim knew that it was more then that, it was a badass character study, with great cover art and inside, and great shading. I encourage everyone to check this out not only zombie lovers will love this! This is the BEST comic I have ever read and probably will ever read. Now more about the comic: The comic follows the character Rick who wakes up with zombies everywhere, it follows him and how he and all his fellow "friends" change when zombies take over. Included at the end of each issue is a section where they let fans and non-fans (of which their are few) alike write in and talk about the comic, give suggestions, talk about new movies, and talk about the possiblity of a Walking Dead show. This section takes me longer to read then the whole comic but it is well worth it. And according to Tim (who reads WAY more comics than me) its one of the few that still have a section like this. I would love to see this get an HBO series, which they are talking about doing, but the show to me would be uncastable. The creator (Kirkman) states in the intro to the first graphic novel that he hates when a zombie movie ends because he always wants to see what will happen next (I feel your pain). So he says that this will go on FOREVER!!!! Well I least he hopes, so if thats the case any actor would be pretty much be signing their life away to do such a show, unless they were killed off. You can probably tell by now that I love this comic and recommend this to anyone! Ill end the post with a famous little phrase When there is no more room in hell, they dead will walk the earth...

I have been watching The Sopranos lately and have been loving it! I think the reason I like the show so much is because it reminds of a mix between all ganster/mob movies and Tarantino. Hold on, let me explain. During the show they will make remarks like where does he rank Goodfellas, another example would be them talking about the difference between laserdisc and dvd. Thats the kind of things I like about the show, when they stop and talk like regular people. Also another Tarantino-like thing would be the use of songs, the songs are used perfect. One great example would be in the first episode of season one when Tony has to run a man down for not paying him. He drives his car, through like a little park, after the dude while a great song, that if you were to first listen to the song you wouldnt think it would work in the scene, plays. Thats were I come up with the Tarantino remark.

Now I want to make a top five favorite directors and list the movies I like made by them. And remember there is a difference between favorite and best as you will see with the first director on my list.

1. Quentin Tarantino - Alright I want to say that I dont think he has made a bad movie yet. And that his movies are some of my favorites, hence the choice of him. Plus I like his personality, you can tell he loves movies! Also the more I post on the Criterionforum.com boards the more I think he is underrated. He writes a great script and can direct his actors.

2. Akira Kurosawa - All right he is the master. He made the great samurai epic which in my mind is the BEST movie ever, Seven Samurai. Then he goes on very late in life to make the masterpieces Kagemusha and Ran. The colors in his later movies are so beautiful and the way he tells his story is remarkable.

3. Alfred Hitchcock - He is the master of suspense. You got to love him, he made so many greats. Every movie he has ever made you can tell he made it, not just because he makes a trademark cameo is most of his movies, but because they all have a certain feel except maybe Mr. and Mrs. Smith but that was early on in his career. He made at least 15 movies in my top 100 favorites.

4. Stanley Kubrick - He is great the way he puts little things in, little touches and angles its amazing. Its amazing Eyes Wide Shut isnt more popular, its a masterpiece. Along with Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Dr. Strangelove, 2001, and many more his collection of masterpieces is of great quanity. Try and find me a Kubrick movie that is terrible! Do it, just try!
5. Martin Scorsese - When he has De Niro he is absolutly a master. But that doesnt mean he has to have him to make a masterpiece. He has made so many! I hate how people are dissing his new movies, they are still better than most new crap out. And I personally can't wait for The Departed. His best is Goodfellas and Raging Bull and if you havent seen those leave you house now and snag them!!!

Well there you go bitches. Enjoy!

I want to write my top favorite movies, I will just list them for now and explain the choices later.
